1. demonstrate the necessary skills for the course with ease and confidence:

• understanding the various ways of knowing
• being able to formulate knowledge issues
• application in the various areas of knowledge
• writing a structured response to a given question

2. acquire time-management skills and a disciplined study habit that would be beneficial for learning

• submit assigned homework on time
• come to class prepared to discuss their ideas
• take notes and be cooperative in completing their drafts to get adequate feedback from the tutor.
